Start spreading the news...

It's been a while since I've updated this website, and that's because it's been a very busy few months.  Most recently, I directed "A Christmas Carol" at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence.  It was a joyous experience, and a joyous production - one of the most successful for Trinity's in the last few years, which is always a good feeling.

Now I'm back in NY and looking forward to all that 2011 has to bring.  In the immediate future I'm looking forward to directing a reading of Chase Yenser's "Pictures and Dreams" for Young Playwrights, Inc.

Looking forward to a year of adventures, surprises, and new possibilities!

What next?

I'm very proud to announce that I will be directing the wonderful Brown/Trinity MFA class of 2012 in William Saroyan's beautiful play TIME OF YOUR LIFE.  It's an honor to be returning back to the program I just graduated from and direct this insanely talented class.

At the end of this week, Paul Grellong's wonderful play DOG PARK will have its last two performances at the Brown/Trinity Playwrights Rep.  It was a delightful play to work on, about relationships and the ways in which strangers can change our lives forever, sometimes helping us find our true paths  Catch it if you can!

A-Yip-A-Yo-Ee-Ay!

As I write this, the opening of "Oklahoma" at Maples Rep is wrapping up.  I am sitting in Providence, getting ready to start rehearsals for Paul Grellong's new play "Dog Park."

Thought I'd share a little of "Oklahoma" with you before I moved on completely though.

Here's our beautiful set, designed by Dale Becherer:

And here is a video of our cast rehearsing "Kansas City" choreographed by the one and only Christopher Windom!

Here's one of Sean Thompson and Lauren Sutton doing "People Will Say We're In Love" after last week's opening night of "Rounding Third."

And here's a video of the cast singing "Oklahoma" in a barn at Jackson Stables!

Away We Go!

Well, Commencement is officially over, which means I now hold my Masters in Fine Arts in Directing.  Pretty exciting.  Tomorrow I'm off to Macon, MO where I'm directing a production of "Oklahoma" with my former co-candidate, and now collaborator, Christopher Windom at Maples Repertory Company!  Away we go!
